Protectivity brand and website makeover

Overview

The Protectivity team reached out to Shoreditch Design with two goals: a complete brand update and a complete user experience rehaul. The result needed to be visually appealing and easy for users to interact with.

Our first step was to define a brand identity in order to build a website that could encompass the aesthetic we had created.

Our design thinking

We initially focused on researching the insurance industry and related sectors to understand which organisations were succeeding and which needed to catch up.

An in-person workshop provided valuable insights into the image Protectivity wanted a brand that was approachable and friendly but still had the reliable and established balance needed in insurance.

With this in mind, we crafted the brand's essential elements: the logo, colour scheme, and typography. Through several iterations, we refined a cohesive and well-thought-out aesthetic perfectly aligned with Protectivity's ethos.

From there, we developed a comprehensive set of components and brand assets that embodied our core brand identity. The result was a meticulously crafted design system ready to be implemented across all touch points.

The final Protectivity product stands out and showcases its unique offering.

The outcome of our collaboration with Protectivity included a website featuring a bold and contemporary aesthetic that challenges the norms of a traditionally conservative industry. The site is vibrant and colourful across hundreds of pages, ensuring a genuinely enjoyable user experience, unlike typical interactions with insurance products.
