Overview
GoTipMe is a new platform for tipping individual bartenders or an entire team after you've left a great restaurant or pub.
Present-day tipping solutions mostly rely on card transactions and tend to lack a personal touch. Often, they offer no way to express gratitude to a bartender once you've left the establishment or for the hospitality staff to thank the guest for a tip. As a solution, GoTipMe is dedicated to giving "tipping" a personal touch and revolutionising the overall experience through its platform. Its mission is to recognise and reward great hospitality while encouraging relationship-building between pub-goers and bartenders. GoTipMe approached us to develop a brand identity and website for this initiative that could reflect their unique personality and inspire individuals to participate.
Our design thinking
Our journey with GoTipMe began by understanding their vision and the style they wanted to convey: 'fun like a night out, yet serious enough for people to trust and use to tip.' We collaborated closely, proposing a minimal sans-serif font for the logo, but adding personality with an incorporated arc beneath the text and a slight rotation on the final letter. This, along with a contrasting yellow and black colour palette, was designed to reflect their unique personality. Once the client approved the proposed branding, we continued our collaborative approach, exploring different ways to develop and incorporate the identity into the website. This process ensured that the final product truly represented GoTipMe's vision and values.

Our collaboration with the founder of GoTipMe has culminated in a visually stunning branding and website design. The result is a vibrant and professional look that perfectly captures the essence of GoTipMe. With its striking colour combination, animated illustrations, and interactive buttons, the website offers a youthful and engaging experience reminiscent of a fun night out.
