Czarnikow delivers supply chain, pricing and financing services to the food, beverage and energy sectors across the globe. Founded in 1861, Czarnikow was best known for global sugar trading. Over the years, they have evolved and grown, with their most recent focus on making their brand known for a sustainability-focused approach to the modern supply chain space. Their team was after a website refresh to promote their business expansion.
Over four weeks, we worked on a website redesign to promote this movement, providing a fresh, modern look.

Our design thinking
We wanted to use the Czarnikow brand to steer the website in a new direction that would appeal to all four user groups: investors, procurement managers, producers, and graduates. We spent an equal amount of time on our strategy to reach these specific users and ensure our designs led each potential user to the correct information. We chose a clean site with breathability and easily accessible information, employing contrasting tones, bold typography, and photography.
Finished product
This balance of strategy and design consideration led to the right outcome. During four weeks of working with Czarnikow, we created an eight-page website based on a fundamental copy structure. Using clean lines, white space, and bold colours, we delivered a bold site with a refreshing take on the trading market against its competitors.
