Overview

H marks the spot—where healthcare disciplines, geography, and individual potential intersect, Hunter Healthcare is here to improve the UK's healthcare industry.

Hunter Healthcare, at it's core, is a healthcare recruitment company with the goal of working towards a better future for healthcare in the UK. Since its inception in 2011, Hunter Healthcare has successfully filled over 13,500 interim and permanent positions. They are working to improve the industry's future by finding the people who'll build it and matching them to positions where they can thrive.

The Hunter Healthcare team connected with Shoreditch Design for a complete website redesign, with the goals of smooth user experience and an update their user interface to set them apart, following their exciting new rebrand by the incredible @mother.

They asked us to focus on a redesign that would better communicate their core services with existing users and reach new audiences through a website that stands out against their competitors.

Our design thinking

Our work began with reworking the site's UX. We started with a deep dive into the existing site. In our initial audit, we suggested improved navigation, a new hero banner system, and an emphasis on an approachable typographic design. As a company that works in the healthcare space, accessibility and readability were at the forefront of building out the site navigation and styles.

For the navigation, we constructed a  site map that facilitated effortless access to primary and secondary site goals with as few clicks as possible.

Hunter Healthcare came to us with brand guidelines created by Mother, with the essentials of the brand identity already laid out, it was our job to create a UI design system for digital platforms that best utilised the new brand persona, while coming up compelling graphic solutions.

Our new hero banner system uses the graphic brand elements and type hierarchy to provide concise, educational titles and directs visitors through each of the pages. We worked to create a balanced imagery hierarchy and image relevance across all pages while.

Finished product

The end result is a beautifully clean, bold, and innovative website that works for Hunter Healthcare and their primary audience. We took a complicated website with many pages and features and broke it down to rebuild it with a clean, easy flow for visitors and possible investors.

We delivered a full website redesign and UI design system tailored to their brand guidelines. We provided the team with headshots, and oversaw the web build to ensure the live sight matched the team's vision. The team couldn't be more thrilled with the end result.
